Overview
The Josephine Circle, Inc., grants up to 15 interest-free loans of $2,500 per semester to applicants pursing a higher education. Loans are renewable each semester and are limited to $20,000 over eight continuous, uninterrupted semesters. Loans are re-payable on a monthly basis beginning six months after completion of a program or leaving school.
Eligibility
The Scholarship Committee selects recipients on the basis of submitted application criteria and availability of loan funds. Applicants must have maintained a 3.3 average and submit a biographical record and supporting material. No loans are awarded to members of the Circle, the Scholarship Committee or their immediate families.
Selection of Recipients
Loans are awarded consistent with the existence of the Josephine Circle exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
